This winter most of the work was completed allowing our girls to be moved into their dormitory after spending many years in our Medical Center while the work was slowly ongoing over time as funds became available. A one-time donation made it possible to complete most of the work–enough for them to be able to move in. We are looking to hire a female staff member to stay with them though, as to ensure they are properly taken care of. We ask for your prayers for this request and the resources to make it happen.
For a long time some of the boys stayed in a temporary shelter made up of plastics and lumber of sorts. Recently we have also been working on a more permanent solution by building them a proper place to stay. A lot more work is yet to be done as it requires a great deal which can be completed when the funds become available, but some beds and other construction has been done again thanks to a one-time gift making it possible. We are also looking for a set of house parents to stay with them as well to oversee them. Pray for these resources to become available so we can finish these much needed projects and hire the proper staffs to help us better see to the children’s needs.
