The ministry is currently building a Bible College which will hold about 1,200 students and will be offering up to three years of solid biblical teaching equipping them for ministry in the classroom along with at least two years in the field. Each student needs $90 USD per month to be supported while enrolled. The students will participate in learning a valued trade to support themselves upon graduation and will be involved in our outreach programs to the poor and in preaching the Word.
There are many parts of Asia that have never been counted in any survey or census, and most of those places have never heard the Gospel, let alone have a functioning church. The graduates will be sent into these areas where the unsaved masses are yet to be reached while being fully independent because of their newly acquired trade.
Lord Jesus Ministry is focused on building up self-sustained disciples who will find fulfillment in our Lord Jesus Christ through helping to serve the poor and leading others into a relationship with Jesus Christ.
Our goal is to graduate students who not only know the Word of God but are trained in a wide variety of skills. These disciples will have medical training, farming and agricultural experience, various trades in mechanics, welding & iron work, sewing & tailoring, carpentry, plumbing, electrical and other construction trades like masonry work and painting. These students will gain many skills to be used both naturally and spiritually in order to prepare them for their work in the Gospel. The goal is to make them independent, so they can stand on their own and establish a community of believers who can support themselves by the trades they learn while teaching the way of Christ, which is eternal.
The total cost of construction is currently anticipated to be about $35 USD per square foot with a total square footage of 18,000 utilizing four stories. If all the funds were immediately available, it could be built in about 15 months.
Enough of the project has been completed to start supporting about 200 students. Each season, the ministry starts with two-week Bible camps across the region costing about $50 per prospective student as a part of our initial outreach program.
